Monday May 10, 2010, the City of Stanfield turned 100 years old
Stanfield is pinched between I-84 to the south and the Columbia River to the north. In the bustle of modern life it is just barely hanging on. If it were not for Columbia river irrigation water Stanfield would be as empty as Shaniko. Maybe I should not be so hard on the place. They have a nice web page and even are on Facebook. It seems they are trying to catch up!
