If you end up in Imbler you are probably headed somewhere else, like Wallowa lake. This quiet town is not a magnet for modern civilization. And I suppose the residents like it that way. Anyway they have a junction that leads to Summerville (nothing there either) and the main road that leads to the Wallowa highlands, or retreat to La Grande if you are nervous about the natives being restless.
