If you are in Powers either you live there or you are lost! In fact the only time I have ever been there (about 1957) we were lost. The road along the south fork of the Coquille river is torturous by modern standards. One gets there by leaving Hiway 42 near Myrtle Point and heading up into the coast range mountains. You can actually go past Powers and on south to Agnes if you don't want to take the jet boat ride from Gold Beach. I promise to go back to take pictures. . . some day. Until then I will just borrow some.
