Kent
Kent has the dubious distinction of being located almost half way between Shaniko and Grass Valley. Talk about lost on the high plains! They do have a rather newish looking cinder block post office and a zip code: 97033. The mandatory grain elevator towers over town but the place does not show much life. Legend has it that the owners of the old gas station pictured here closed the place because of safety concerns. It appears to me that the pumps needed replacing!
