Warrenton
With an elevation of 5 feet above sea level you may want to watch out for sneaker waves around here. Warrenton is famous, along with Hammond, as a launch site for the many fishing excursions on the lower Columbia river and on into the Pacific ocean. Salmon, sturgeon fishing and crabbing and clamming are major pursuits around here, both recreational and commercial.
I know there are a lot of small town gazebos out there but we couldn't find much to take a picture of here in Warrenton.
This is the local museum and city park. We have never been inside as our traveling hours have never coincided with the museum hours.
You probably will not be able to read the detail in the picture but the map shows the trail from Hammond to Warrenton along with several of the critters you might expect to see along the way. If you want to know the detail you will have to take the walk.
