Mt. Angel
Mt Angel is one of the most livable small towns remaining in the north Willamette valley. The heritage there is German and very obvious. From the antique script on the signs to the annual Oktober Fest one sees and feels the German heritage. Mt Angel is also the site of a prominent monastery and a beautiful Catholic church.
