Cove
Cove is nestled in at the base of the mountains northeast of La Grande. It has a large residential area and sits just high enough to have a great view of the valley floor. This must be a great little town in which to live.
A lot of community pride goes into this kind of structure. One tends to think of New England when thinking of little white churches with steeples but most of the small towns in Oregon have such a church. We do not especially try to get pictures of churches but many times the most photogenic landmark is a little church just like this one in Cove.
